In Memory of

Rusty Walker

Our beloved Russell “Rusty” Walker passed on December 26th 2020. Rusty’s extreme compassion and love for all will be forever remembered by those whose lives he touched, both as a man of faith and family, and a prosthetist who dedicated his life to serving the needs of others.

Rusty battled cancer with steadfast courage, one of the many commendable ways Rusty’s life shone with resilience and encouragement to everyone he met. Rusty lived his last few years as an amputee and translated his life’s work into personal experience. He continued to be a beacon of hope and expertise in the office and never let his challenges set him back. He even insisted on working on his own device!

Rusty always used his personal experiences to help our patients move forward with hope on their own journeys. He continued seeing patients and having personal consultations after his amputation, and was never shy about sharing the knowledge of his experience if he thought it would help someone else in need.

There is a hole on the ProCare Prosthetics team that cannot be filled by anyone but Rusty, but we cherish that his memory will live on in the lives of those he helped.

Rest in peace, Rusty. We will miss you dearly.
